Meet the Team

We’d like to introduce you to the people you’ll meet through your work with Castle Computers.  We’re an eclectic mix of characters, but we all have one important thing in common; which is our commitment to provide our customers with excellent service.

Lynn Armstrong
Office Manager

“No two days are ever alike. We work with such a wide variety of clients and we really take the time to get to know their businesses.”

Lynn’s technical background means she is able to provide support and advice to customers on a wide range of software and hardware. She’s also the author of a series of articles on how to solve everyday computer problems.

Lynn says: “Our philosophy is to work with clients to help them achieve their business goals. This means that we never ‘oversell’ and we give honest, impartial advice even if it means we don’t make a sale. The result is that our clients tend to stay with us for a very long time.”

Lynn’s technical skills spill over into her leisure time. She’s a keen computer gamer, from Tomb Raider to Command & Conquer and she’s a voracious reader, a big fan of Terry Pratchet.

Ian Armstrong
Partner

“Before you make any drastic changes to your IT, talk to us. We may be able to save you time and money.”

Ian is a founder of Castle Computers and has a wealth of technology experience and knowledge at his fingertips. Ian loves a challenge and will always find a solution.

Ian says: “We’ve been working with businesses and technology for a long time. We know our stuff, and will always work tirelessly to solve a client problem.”

Outside of work, Ian is an amateur photographer and keen fell walker.

Paul Denton
Partner

“If you think it’s impossible to get Sage to do something, think again. There’s a very good chance we can find a way.”

Paul is one of the founding partners at Castle Computers an expert on Sage Accounting software. He knows everything there is to know about its installation, functionality, and capabilities. He has a reputation as the ‘Sage Whisperer’ – there’s nothing he can’t make it do!

Paul says: “We’re not in the business of just installing Sage on computers and then leaving. We spend a lot of time understanding the workflow of our client’s business before we configure it. We believe it’s important that the client gets exactly what they need, no more no less. Over the years, we’ve learned that our customers really appreciate our honesty.”

Paul relaxes by riding his mountain bike across the Lake District fells.
