Every Month Microsoft release new security updates – It is essential that you install these as soon as possible. Microsoft release these updates to address known and new security threats.
The July updates from Microsoft address 142 recently discovered security flaws. (Which include 5 critical vulnerabilities )
On the 21st April 2024 a critical vulnerability was identified by a third party - in Microsoft Outlook.
Microsoft was informed about this vulnerability and on the 26th April 2024 the vulnerability was confirmed
JULY 9th 2024 Microsoft included a patch to address this vulnerability in Update releases.
If you have not yet installed the JULY updates from Microsoft then you are still at risk from this vulnerability.
